Style is the result of personal life experiences and improves as time goes by. Style means being aware of what suits you well and what you like. There is no style without education.

Continuously evolving classic.
What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?
Not feeling comfortable in his own clothes.
Do you believe in role models?
I believe in inspiring people.
What are your favourite fabrics?
I love flannels in winter and usually wear cotton and linen during summer.
Are there any style combinations that you object to?
I object to every combination done with too much effort.
Which city has the best-dressed men?
I really don't know. I have seen elegant men in a lot of cities in the world.
Would you say that you are conservative or bold?
I try to modernise the classic menswear attire with a fresh take.
What are the rules in the way you dress?
A lot. The first one coming to mind is "never overdo".
Celebrities and style...
I'm not interested in celebrities so I don't know. :)
Name one garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?
Shirts.
A man should always look like...
Elegant without struggling to look so.
Who taught you what you know about style?
My family, books, the artisans and people I interviewed for my blog.
How do you select your clothing every morning?
It depends on the weather and my mood.
Do you have any shopping rituals?
I rarely do shopping. I prefer having my suits done by a tailor, when I can.

White short socks. Except for sport-related reasons.
The most stylish person you have ever seen...
I have lots of elegant friends. I love the sobriety of Giampaolo Alliata, the ability to wear coloured double-breasted jackets of Lino Ieluzzi, and the taste of Valentino and Nicola Ricci.
What is the first thing you notice on a man?
His tie knot, if he is wearing one. Otherwise, the structure of his jacket.
The one image that defined your approach to style...
I think I am deeply eager to always know more and more about the tailoring industry.
Which new designers do you follow and why?
I don’t follow new designers, so I would not know.
The only article of clothing that a man needs to pay close attention to is…
Everything is worthy of attention. If I have to choose one, I would say the jacket.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
The Montblanc pen that my mother gave me upon my graduation. It's always with me during my interviews.
Is comfort an enemy of style?
On the contrary, they are loyal friends. A sartorial jacket is comfortable and elegant at the same time.
Which fashion house never fails to impress you?
I don't follow fashion houses.
