My friends, punks, Camden, 50's icons, and movies.
Please describe your style in three words.
Granny, child, films.
What is the biggest mistake one can make when getting dressed?
Wearing something that doesn't make you feel good.
Do you believe in role models?
Yes. I have role models and I think it is a positive thing to be influenced by someone else; influenced by what they have done or have stood for.
What are your favourite fabrics?
Chiffon, denim, and lace.
Are there any style combinations that you object to?
Maybe those old combats with all the tassels from the early 90's… Those with anything, basically.
Which city has the best-dressed women?
I think London has a lot of individuality, fun and creativity in its street fashion. Paris is very classy as well. Berlin is super cool too!
Would you say that you are conservative or bold?
Both, I guess. I like the look of traditional 50's conservative dressing but I also love rebel and punk icons.
What are the rules, if any, in the way you dress?
My rules are I wear what I feel like that day — I dress depending on my mood. If I feel fun and silly, I will probably end up wearing something stupid and fun. If I feel angry and defensive, I will probably end up wearing darker colours and a leather jacket with fishnets. No real rules though.

One garment/accessory that you can never have enough of?
Cute hair clips and tights! I always rip them — ALWAYS!

Whatever she feels like looking like.
How do you select your clothing every morning?
I just get out of the shower and see how I feel. If I have somewhere specific to go to, I will spend the night before thinking about it.
What is your biggest regret?
I think regret is too harsh a word, because I think everything you do shapes who you are. But I guess growing up I put a lot of pressure on myself to change my body for clothes and I hated myself because I was unable to look the way I wanted. I think discovering vintage clothing gave me more confidence and taught me how to dress and wear clothes that suit my body.
The three essential things a woman should know about style are...
It is fun! It is creative and it can make you feel badass and give you confidence.
Do you have any shopping rituals?
I'm quite quick in vintage shops these days; I flick through fast because I know what patterns/shapes I'm looking for. I go through a lot of phases though and I am an impulsive buyer.

Which new designers do you follow and why?
I love Georgia Hardinge because she makes awesome powerful looking clothes and she is an awesome person. I also love Gemma Slack — she's a rebel.
Who is the most stylish person you have ever seen?
My granny. She wore the most amazing clothes, had the most amazing glasses, trousers and hats. I think she was quite ahead of her time. Also Rachel and Julia from the band Supercute!
What is the first thing you notice on a woman?
Her mouth, her hair, the way she talks, and her clothes.
What are the most treasured items in your wardrobe?
My leather jacket, a Nirvana t-shirt, and my favourite vintage dress.
The one image that defined your approach to style...
The classic Marilyn Monroe skirt over the fan picture. Fun, girly, cute, hot and cheeky.
Which designer never fails to impress you?
Chanel.
One article of clothing that a woman needs to pay close attention to is...
Her bra. One needs good bras that fit right.
Is comfort an enemy of style?
No, definitely not. I think that if you feel comfortable in what you wear, you will look better. I do, however, think there is an element of laziness these days — our ‘standards’ have got a lot less stylish. For example, if you look back at the 50's and 60's, everyone looked cool because their standards were higher. But it is important to feel comfortable, as it gives you more opportunity to look like an individual and make the effort to be unique.
